The theme for Men's Health Week 2020 is 'Take Action on Covid-19'. The week runs from from 15-21 June.
The 'Men's Health Forum' wlll be looking at what we can all do to prevent the virus doing more damage.
take action to avoid spreading the virus
take action to get the best out of lockdown and the 'new normal'
take action to beat 'underlying conditions'.
The Alliance will be promoting the week with information and activities for men to assess and improve general health and manage stress. 'Men's Health Week' raises awareness about health issues which affect men disproportionately. Evidence shows that men in general tend not to visit the GP until a problem is more established or serious. Men also face additonal health risks men face with Covid19 and the focus of the week is to give information and advice on how to prevent or manage the underlying health conditions and make choices to improve overall health.
